hi girls! i absolutely adore this nail art and it was inspired by one of my absolute favorite shows-  Pretty Little Liars! It's a border manicure but spiced up with fun polka dots :) Jenna was the one with these nails last season and I hope you guys like my version! I think it looks exactly the same as hers! Honor S/S 2013 Bejeweled Braids Hair Tutorial + DIY

Romantic? Check. Pretty? Check.  Easy? Check! Looks like you spent hours but you didn't? CHECK! This has to be my new favorite hairstyle and I hope it becomes yours too.  

As you know, NY Fashion Week for Spring/Summer 2013 just passed by and this was by far my favorite hair look out of all the shows! The girls had two dutch french inside out braids with floating crystals placed throughout the braids and the bottom.   I knew I had to recreate a DIY for you guys!

WHAT YOU NEED:

Jewels of different sizes - Michaels Craft store or HERE and HERE and HERE
Bobby Pins - I used regular size ones for the bigger jewels and mini ones for the smaller jewels - My favorite are in a black tin and they are Sally Beauty Brand (not on website)
Hot Glue Gun (and sticks)
Black Elastic Hair Ties

Very excited about this Demi Lovato X-Factor Audition makeup!! I totally love that show and I'm so happy Demi & Britney are there ... they make it more youthful and just fun! Perfect Paisley Nail Art Tutorial

So I'm kind of sort of obsessed with this FUN Paisley nail art ... it looks like a bandana! Hence why I took the photo with one :) I love that it looks like a sticker only without any stickers because those things drive me crazy most of the time! You know I really like a nail art when I leave it on for more than 3 days because that NEVERRR ever happens with me ... so this is most definitely one of my favorites I've done... and trust me, i've done a lot of nail looks over the years! Stained Glass Nail Art

So over a year ago pre-YouTube (around April 2011) I did these really funky Stained Glass Window nails and I lovedddd them! So I wanted to do them again only this time with a video tutorial (obviously!)  Feel free to use more neon colors (such as the China Glaze Summer Neon shades).  I did that on my other hand because I was feeling whimsical! It can also double as "Mosaic" nail art OR1980's retro! This design is kind of taking me back to the bed spreads in DJ and Stephanie's bedroom from one of my all-time FAVORITE shows as a child, Full House .. anyone, anyone?!

Fashion Dish: 3 Different Ways to Wear Floral Pants!

So ... I recently picked up a risky purchase from Wet Seal: FLORAL pants! Now I was unsure of these at first but I accepted the challenge and bought them, figuring I would find some cute ways to wear them.  Today I'm excited to share three fun outfit ideas and different ways to rock your floral denim!!

This was my first time filming out in public (thank you to my amazing boyfriend for being a little filmmaker extraordinaire) so I was a wee bit nervous BUT I had a blast doing this (it was insanely hot out)... more to come for sure :)    always remember: do not care what other people think! just do your thing and always be yourself:) Fear and embarrassment was the number one thing that kept me from starting a YouTube channel ... it's taken me 6 years!!! I started watching beauty videos when there were only a couple (in 2006) ... before all the 'beauty guru's were even on.  and I always wanted to do one but I was nervous what others would say or think or if they would laugh at me.  I regret not doing this sooner but now is the best timing I suppose :) It's been said before but it's just a little positive tip and reminder for you!

Fall/Birthday Clothing Haul!

I will be the FIRST to say that I love summer but I definitely get excited for fall clothes!! and other scrumptious things such as pumpkin EVERYTHING (coffee, pancakes, bread, candles etc.) ... its just so cozy :) My birthday was also last week (August 24th) so I went a little extra shopping crazy! I got some really adorable stuff from Old Navy, Wet Seal, Charlotte Russe, Forever 21 and some Michael Kors items for my birthday!
