Tangerine: Wear and Pair

Who would have thought that orange could steal our hearts this year? I am totally loving this color in every form it comes in.  Even my blog background! I personally think it looks amazing on tan skin tones but honestly, anyone can rock it! Not only was it amazing as a bright summer pop, but it will transition beautifully into your 2012 fall wardrobe.  Without fail, you must find a way to sneak this shade into your upcoming outfit! I am truly convinced that it looks good paired with any other color: 

1. Tangerine Teardrop Bib - $34, BaubleBar.com

My friend at work just recently told me about this website and I am in love.  I have this necklace in teal and I think it's safe to say I need this tangerine version! Statement necklaces are everything right now.  Pair it with a plain white mens tee (roll up the sleeves twice) and a pair of black skinny jeans.  How cute would that be? 

2. Old Navy Rockstar Super Skinny Jeans - $29, Old Navy

One word for these jeans: AMAZING.  I have 3 pairs: 2 washes of denim and the black.  I don't know what it is but the stretch makes your legs look super long and thin.  And um, how can you say no to that? You can always get a coupon for Old Navy on their Facebook Page "Reveal-a-Deal" app (score!) so you're never paying full price.  These are a must! 

3. Smashbox Be Legendary Lipstick in Melondrama - $19, Sephora

When I was writing the description for this shade I wrote "Mango Madness" by accident, because that's what I always call this color! I own it and love it.  It even looks super pretty with a lacey top. I saw this on the sales girl at Ulta and had to have it.  I don't know about you but sometimes I think red is a little bit played out ... this shade is a game changer! Try it on at Sephora or Ulta if you're unsure.  

4. Mossimo Pemota Pump - $10, Target ON SALE! 

How adorable are these chunky heels? If you're like me and you're not usto walking in sky high stilettos, this is an amazing alternative! And for $10? Yes please! 

5. Mossimo Odell Ballet Flats - $12.99, Target

Am I the only one who is picky about how leopard print looks on clothes and shoes? These are just right.  Pair these flats up with the Old Navy Rockstar Super Skinny Jeans as shown above ... instant fashion beauty! 

6. Striped Shirt - 9.95, H&M 

Totally envisioning this cute top with the ON Rockstar Jeans and the Mossimo Leopard Ballet Flats.  How precious! This top will definitely be a staple in your wardrobe.  Everyone needs a classic striped long sleeve shirt! 

7. Gold Chain Bracelet - $4.80, Forever 21

Gold chains are such a necessary accessory item right now.  Since they're so affordable, I would buy three and stack them on my wrist! One is never enough :) 

8. Zippered A-Line Tank - $9.80, Forever 21

This jewel tone purple + tangerine = gorgeous.  One of the prettiest color blocking combos ever.  Imagine this top with those chunky Target heels? I'm dying to pair the two together.
